Production
expected to begin this autumn:
Tuesday, 3rd of August 2010. Production is expected to begin this autumn in Co. Mayo on "After Dark: Black Hollow" producers have announced today. Irish actors Patrick Bergin, Eamonn Owens and Mark Dunne are set to star, while newcomer Eoghan Kavanagh and international rising star Gerry Shanahan will co-star.
Speaking today a spokesperson for producers said "This has been a difficult project to cast and finance, but we are almost ready to go and are looking forward to finally getting things going.". Casting is currently underway and pre-production is expected to begin shortly.

Anthony Whelan signs to produce After Dark:
Wednesday, 23rd of July 2008.
Producer Anthony Whelan has signed a deal to produce After Dark after
negotiations with the pervious producer ended. Shadowhawk Motion
Picture boss Jason Murray discussed the project with Mr. Whelan and
plans are now in place to produce the project next year for release in
2010.
British director Glen Mortimer is still attached to the project, and both he and Mr. Whelan will meet shortly to discuss the project.

Glen Mortimer sign up to direct:

director Glen Mortimer has signed into a deal with Shadowhawk executives
to direct their upcoming project After Dark. The project which was
written by Irish writer Derek Furlong was brought in by Mr. O'Reilly,
who then offered the directors job to Mr. Mortimer who
finalized a deal with the company last week.
The project is not expected to
begin production until 2009, and will be filmed in Ireland. Casting is
expected to begin later this year.

Derek Furlong signs deal with Shadowhawk for After Dark Thursday, 10th of April 2008. Shadowhawk Films (Eire) International have signed to deal with Irish writer Derek Furlong for the rights to his screenplay "After Dark". The horror genre screenplay is now set for production next year in Ireland with release in 2010 worldwide.
Company executive Martin White secured the deal with Mr. Furlong and his agent this week. Plans for the project will begin later this year when the company plan to approach producers and directors.

Derek Furlong in talks for After Dark screenplay: Wednesday, 21st of November 2007. Irish writer Derek Furlong who has just completed the screenplay for the upcoming Shadowhawk project "National Task Force" has now entered into negotiations to write the screenplay for "After Dark".
The project is set to be produced in 2009 and plans for the original screenplay where scrapped after executive producers felt the storyline was not good enough. Derek Furlong was approached by company executive Martin White, who said he wanted Derek on board the project.
